2x Pioneer CDJ 800 Mk2, 2x Technics 1210 Mk2, 1x Pioneer DJM 700, Sennheiser HD25 Mk2. I have joined this website as I have a keen interest in Hard Dance music and as a result have got into mixing as a hobby, I will be uploading various mixes in various styles onto the site.I first started to get into rave music with the north east scene and generally the Makina (Spanish Techno) sound, this was the main style of music I mixed and listened to for the first few years. Hard House is also a style I've always liked from when I got into rave music but have never really had one favourite artist, anything I like the sound of I go for.I then got into UK Hardcore in a big way when then likes of Recon, Squad-E and Gammer came about and generally bought tunes around the start of that era, from labels such as Next Generation, Blatant Beats and Raverbaby, although I've always been a fan of Quosh. As for more recently I have tended to buy UK Hardcore from new artists, if at all.After UK Hardcore I got into the Hard Bounce style a little, but got bored quite quickly. After a year stopped buying tracks.The next genre I found I enjoyed was new Hardstyle from such artists as Activator, D-Block And S-Te-Fan and Showtek, although I've found the genre has now become quite stale.Until recently I bought mostly Hard Dance in its various forms but still have a soft spot for the New Makina sound. I would say i'm 99.9% digital these days.With regards to Makina I've been getting into it quite a lot again and have bought a decent amount from Japan, who now seem to be the guys who make the best stuff. A cdj-100 and a numark axis 9 My name is Monique and I'm a 24 year old from southwest london who has been playing out for a year and a half. I've played a number of times for different events in Club 414, The Fridge, Fire, Medussa, Club Life, and Union, all of which are in London. I recently also played my first set outside England on the 11th June where I played in Poland. My music style is mainly hard house but I also play hard trance, hardcore and progressive house. Since then he as manged to play along side some big names in the hard dance Circuit, with the likes of Amber d, Vinlygroover, Miss Behav’in, Dave Randell, Glenn Miller, lisa lashes, Anne savage, lisa pin up... To just name a few. Since then, he as manged to bag himself residencies, one at insomnia at club castors and one at nu-breed both in Bristol. He also as had the chance to play at one of the most well known nights called trade that was held at castors earlier in 2000.Since then, he is no stanger playing all over the uk, playing at many well known events and clubs. With his smooth mixing skills and great track choices! as manged to keep him nicely in the game and love by many clubbers all over the world. From is classic sets, and right bang up to date with all the fine underground sounds to keep punters dancing for hours. From is cool bouncy hard house sounds right through to the more cutting edges tracks. He also enjoys being on the other side of the decks as a clubber and also enjoy going to special events like magna and the tidy weekenders. Is many dj heros are Anne Savage, Ingo, and Paul Maddox’s, Lisa lashes, Amber D, Lisa pin up, Andy Farly, Bk, Paul gazby, Ed real, Guyver. Just to name a few.
